Jake is a 31-year-old donkey that was adopted (in spirit) by Jordan in May 2023. His research interests include how donkeys use language to communicate with their human parents - specifically, how to tell them that he prefers to spend time with them instead of with his fellow equines.
When he's not conducting research, he enjoys weekly visits from his adoptive mom, ear scratches, long walks in the grass, and helping his friends find forever homes at New England Equine Rescue North!
