Ellen Finch is a sixth-year Ph.D. student in the Clinical Science program at Harvard University. She is a member of the Clinical Research Lab and is advised by Dr. Jill Hooley. Ellen’s research interests broadly include personality disorders and self-injurious thoughts and behaviors. Currently, her research focuses on using experimental paradigms to better understanding cognitive and behavioral features of pathological narcissism. Alongside her research, Ellen has completed clinical training at McLean Hospital's Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Institute, Boston University's Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders, Massachusetts General Hospital's Addiction and Recovery Management Services, and VA Boston's Women's Trauma Recovery Team.

Before joining the Clinical Research Lab, Ellen worked at McLean Hospital researching treatments for borderline personality disorder. She graduated from Williams College. Ellen is originally from New Hampshire, and enjoys skiing, hiking, and anything else outdoors.
